Colibrí Mexican Leather Crossbody
- About Carlota
Hummingbirds are the smallest birds in the world and are unique to the American continent. They constitute the second largest family of birds due to all the species that exist. Mayan legend has it that when they created the Earth, the gods gave each animal a purpose and mission, but realized that they had not assigned the important task of carrying wishes and thoughts from one place to another. So they took a jade stone and carved a tiny arrow, blew it and it flew out, thus the hummingbird was born. The result of the divine breath was light and fragile animal, but fast, with wings that reflected all colors when bathed in the rays of the sun. The men, in love with the bird, tried to catch it to adorn themselves with its beautiful feathers, but the gods were angry and ordered that they would be punished. That is why no one has ever seen a hummingbird in a cage or in the hand of a man.

Care: Carlota pieces are made with high-quality materials, and therefore should be treated with care, and protected against the elements. Due to the delicate nature of the materials, daily use can cause scratches and scuff marks on the surface, so we recommend you treat it with care. The leather is submitted to an important natural dye process, and the suede lining is pigmented with natural anilines, so we recommend that you be careful with any light-colored items that may come into contact with it.
If soiled, carefully clean the surface area using water and soft detergents. To keep your leather products in optimum condition, clean with a soft dry cloth, or, if necessary have them professionally cleaned.
