Otomi Grabado Mexican Leather Backpack - Rosa Merlot
Otomí comes from the Nahuatl word meaning “bird hunter”. This culture settled in the central region of Mexico, in what are now the states of Mexico, Hidalgo, Queretaro, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Puebla, and Veracruz. The Otomí people are wonderful examples of craftsmanship, representing Mexico in their art as a colorful country. Their most well-known craft is the Tenango, a mosaic of colors – just like your handbag – depicting every-day scenes, such as sowing and harvesting, the rituals, plants, and animals of their towns.
Carlota backpack bag engraved with inspiration from the Otomi culture. Adjustable handles and smooth leather details in the color of the bag, internal cell phone pocket. A design that will fill your days with life and color. The skins that we use at Carlota have a semi-ecological process, as it is a lead-free product. The anilines used to color your bag, like the waxes that create the two-tone effect, are of plant origin. For this reason, any irregularity that is noticed in the skin is the effect of the natural process.
Clean with a damp white cloth and dermatological quality soap. It is important to keep the bag in its dust container and keep it in a dry place.
