Yucatán Hand-Painted Hat

These beautiful hats start off in the workshop of Andrea in San Francisco Del Rincon, Guanajuato. Here, the hats are specifically designed with the highest quality, comfort and protection from rain, sun. Next, artists Edgar and Marisol, from San Agustín, Guerrero paint the designs with mastered skills. Led by Creative Director, Zahra Darwish, they provide the artists with the highest quality paints and pay close attention to detail, color schemes, and textures. Next, Oscar, from León Guanajuato, makes beautiful leather belts to compliment the hats! They work with him to design the style and colors that work best with the patterns. Since the project began in the magical Pueblo of Taxco, Guerrero, the silver capital of the world, they worked with a local silver smith, Don Higinio & Doña Hortensia, to create a special charm with their logo ZD, with which some of the hats carry. Each hat is a one of a kind piece handcrafted by multiple artisans, thus, you carry a little piece of each of them with you.
