The Hydrate conditioner bar is handcrafted with very moisturizing ingredients, best for dry damaged hair. Formulated to give your hair hydration and moisture with rich ingredients like Kokum, Murumuru, and Argan, some of the richest butters you can find. It will help your hair come back to life, with a good balance of quinoa protein to help repair the damage.

Each bar is the equivalent of 2 to 3 bottles of product. Vida Bars have an optimal pH balance for healthy hair, making them color-safe. Our bars are handcrafted, which means each is unique and might vary slightly from pictures. All of our bars are gluten-free and these Hydrate bars are vegan too.

We’ve carefully selected individual ingredients to provide unique benefits to your hair. Worry-free care for your tresses, free of sulfates, silicones, drying alcohols, parabens or harsh chemicals. Long names are hard to understand, so we’re breaking it down to let you know what it’s derived from.

  • Astrocaryum Murumuru Seed (murumuru butter)

  • Argania Spinosa Kernel (argan butter)

  • Panthenol Provitamin B5
  • Hydrolized Quinoa Protein (quinoa)
  • Stearic Acid (vegetable fat)
  • Daucus Carota Sativa (carrot root extract)
  • Lavandula Angustifolia Flower Oil (lavender essential oil)
  • Citrus Grandis Peel (grapefruit essential oil)
  • Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (naturally derived preservative)

CONDITIONER BAR

Warm up your Vida Bar by running under warm water and rubbing between your hands. Apply the bar along length of your hair, in sections. Let sit for 3-5 minutes. Rinse. 

CARE

Extend the life of your bars by allowing to dry between washes, we recommend taking out of the shower if possible.

Ana straightened her hair for years, like many, the straightener and "smooth & tame" products were part of her hair routine. Eventually, when she took notice that her own daughter started disliking her own curly hair she decided to start embracing her own curls. This sent her on a quest to find products and methods to bring her natural hair back to life. During her research, she discovered that over 550 million plastic bottles of shampoo are used and discarded every year.⁠ They were either filled with harmful chemicals or made from unsustainable materials.⁠ Additionally, Ana also realized finding hair care products for her hair type was a complete challenge.

⁠When Ana couldn't find any products that met her standards she decided to take matters into her own hands and create her own line of hair care products—Vida Bars.

Ready to Ship Orders

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. Please note this does NOT apply to made-to-order items and pre-orders). Once shipped you will receive another notification with tracking details; please allow 24 hours for the tracking to reflect transit details. 

Note that special holidays result in high volume of packages and subsequent delays may occur.

Please note that due to the intricate craftsmanship involved, the production and delivery of this item may take approximately 4-6 months. However, we understand that sometimes you need your dress sooner. If your event is within the next 2-month window, we can expedite your order, but we require immediate notification. Please don't hesitate to contact us to inquire about availability. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs and provide you with the perfect piece in a timely manner.

When your order is ready your item will be shipped via Priority Mail.

We understand that things don't always go according to plan, and when they don't, we're here to help. We stand behind the products we offer, and if something doesn’t work out, we’re committed to making it right! Our goal is to ensure you have the best experience possible.

Order Cancellations: 
Please note, we are unable to accept order cancellations beyond 24 hours from the time of purchase.

Exchanges & Returns: 
If your order didn’t meet your expectations, we’re happy to assist with an exchange or return within 30 days of delivery. You can choose one of the following options for your return:

  1. Exchange
  2. Store Credit
  3. Refund

Important Information:

  • Exchanges and returns are available only for orders placed within the United States.
  • The return or exchange request must be made within 30 days of delivery, and we will honor the date of your initial contact. So, no need to worry if you don't hear from us right away within that time frame.
  • A restock and processing fee of $10 will be deducted from the refund or store credit amount.

Exclusions:
The following items are NOT eligible for exchange or return:

  • Custom items (e.g. bridal designs)
  • Made-to-order items (e.g. Maria Consuelo Designs 14k gold jewelry)
  • Clearance or archive sale items
  • Items marked as "Final Sale"
  • International orders

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for an exchange or return, the following conditions must be met:

  1. The item must be in its original condition: unworn, unused, with tags attached, and in the original packaging.
  2. Please inspect your order upon delivery and notify us within 3 days if the item is damaged, defective, or if there is an error with your order.
