I bought this ring hoping it would be my wedding band for my upcoming wedding, but unfortunately it will not work. The primary issue is that the ring is much too small to be able to reliably get on my ring finger. I purchased a size 5 (which is also the size of my engagement ring), but without a sizing guide to understand if these sizes were comparable, I took a gamble that did not pay off. I can barely get the ring over my knuckle and it compresses my finger tightly when worn. I did request confirmation from Cadena in my purchase notes of sizing before the ring was made and sent because they indicated that half sizes were available upon request, but I was never contacted to confirm if the 5.5 would be better instead. My other note is that the gold color is different than what I was expecting from the photos. The gold is much more white than deep gold as photographed, which makes it not match with my other 14k gold engagement ring's band. Finally, though I realize this is visible now in the photos, when I received the ring in person I realized that with a hollow inside to the ring, it is very flimsy looking, which causes it to look like a piece of toy jewelry instead of a $700 gold band. Unfortunately this experience was disheartening and I am out the money because, as I knew in advance, they will not accept returns of this custom item. Because it does not fit comfortably on any finger, I cannot use this piece at all, which adds to my disappointment. I hope that my feedback can help improve the jewelry development and order processes of future customers to avoid issues like this in the future.
