The journey of these pieces begins with raw quartz, meticulously sourced by skilled miners from the regions of Querétaro, Guanajuato, Sonora, and Veracruz. This raw quartz is then entrusted to the seasoned craftsmanship of Don Crecencio, a revered lapidarist with over four decades of experience. After a decade of collaboration with Tita, he has passed his expertise and deep understanding of quartz to his nephews, who work alongside him.

The transformation of raw quartz into unique shapes is a laborious process requiring immense skill and patience. Once the quartz achieves its desired form, it is carefully handed over to Tita Lopez, the mastermind behind these captivating designs. Infusing each piece with intricate beading, Tita adds the final flourish, whether it be a heart or a skull motif. After undergoing Tita's meticulous work, each piece is lovingly cleansed and prepared for delivery. This journey is imbued with reverence, love, and an abundance of knowledge and skill.
